Open Water Dives 1 & 2
Have you already completed the Open Water Referral course? If so, you are only four dives away from being a certified scuba diver! Book your Open Water Checkout Dives with Aquarius Scuba to complete your certification and kickstart your diving adventures. Through SSI, we have special permission to complete Open Water Checkout Dives 1 + 2 at the Etobicoke Olympium Pool. This is a fantastic way to continue your certification through the winter months, without wasting any tropical vacation days!
After you complete Dives 1 & 2 with us in the pool, you only need to complete Dives 3 & 4 in the Open Water. These can be completed through Aquarius during our open water season from spring - fall.

Open Water Checkout Dives
During these open water checkout dives, your instructor will demonstrate, practice, and test you on the skills learned in Steps 1 & 2: the Open Water Referral course. Once you have successfully completed two dives, you will officially be a certified Scuba Diver. How exciting is that?!

Course Details:
Monday - 8:45 pm - 10:30 pm (2 subsequent Mondays)
*we ask that you arrive to the shop from 6:30 - 7PM on the first Monday to size and fit rental gear if needed).*
Dive Site: Etobicoke Olympium Pool (590 Rathburn Rd)
Includes:
- Instructor training
- Virtual divers log and training record for open water checkout dives
- Equipment rentals (2 tanks, regulator, BCD, weights - except mask/fins/snorkel for open water checkout dives - this is an additional $50 rental fee)
- One free pool entry to our Monday Evening Pool Session to practice!
NOTE: There is a $50 fee for less than 1 weeks’ notice of rescheduling or cancelling your course. This offering is only available to SSI Open Water Referral students.
