This region is home to several historic shipwrecks — including century-old steel freighters and sailing vessels like the Mapledawn (1924), Michigan (1843), and Marquette (1867). These sites are typically in relatively shallow water, making them perfect for beginners and intermediate divers, as well as those pursuing their first Canadian wreck dives.
Our Christian Island weekend charter is specifically geared toward new divers and those new to Canadian freshwater diving, giving you structured guidance, professional supervision, and the chance to explore these fascinating wrecks with confidence.
