Brockville & Rockport
Brockville and the 1000 Islands region has gained critical acclaim as being one of the “World’s Best Fresh Water Scuba Diving” destinations. Part of the attraction to this site is the water clarity and that there is no thermocline. This unique and rewarding diving experience offers exploration of century old shipwrecks and artefacts that are scattered along the Saint Lawrence River bottom. Shipwrecks close by include the H.P. Bigelow, Lillie Parsons, John B. King, Robert Gaskin, Muscallonge, Fleur Marie and the Rothesay. Just off the shores of Brockville you will also find a unique dive site full of underwater statues.

The boat charter FEE includes 2 boat dives per day.

*PLEASE NOTE: All divers must be certified minimum as Advanced Open Water and present logged deep (100 ft+) and drift dives in the last 18 months. These dive sites may have strong currents and low visibility. Experience in these conditions is MANDATORY.

In the heart of the Thousand Islands recreational region, we enjoy dozens of historic and archaeologically rich underwater sites, many of them Shipwrecks. You will marvel at the unexpected beauty below and above the water. Come discover why we call the Thousand Islands “the Jewel of the St. Lawrence”. We enjoy a climate that brings beautiful hot and sunny days throughout the summer months, without the worries of bad weather commonly seen on the Great Lakes.
Wall and wreck diving is served up in Rockport, Ontario. This small town in the Thousand Islands attracts a lot of technical divers due to the over 200 foot granite wall. This is an advanced dive and should only be done with specialized training and equipment. If you are a “Techy”, this is the deep dive you are looking for. If you want to be a “Techy” we can teach you how to dive it properly. There are dives in the area for the adrenaline junkies among us! The Keystorm is located east of Rockport and is an excellent dive.
In July, August, and September, water temperatures range from 68-72 degrees F without any thermoclines, thanks to the dynamics of the river’s flow. Currents vary site to site, from non-existent to strong, and visibility is good at 30 to 50 feet or better. Come visit the 1000 Islands for your diving adventure, or maybe even treasure!
