Ready to become a certified diver? Aquarius Scuba’s Open Water Certification is your gateway to exploring the underwater world. This globally recognized certification combines e-learning theory, confined water training, and open water dives - all led by our experienced instructors. Whether you're aiming to dive on vacation or start a new hobby, this course gives you the skills and confidence to start your diving journey. With this introductory certification you can dive up to 18 meters with a buddy - anywhere in the world!

Open Water Referral
The confined water component (Open Water Referral) is completed at the Aquarius Scuba shop and one of our favourite pools in the Greater Toronto Area. These pool sessions include a gear walkthrough, theory overview, and in-water diving skills. Once divers have completed this part, they can move on to Step 3 - the Open Water Checkout Dives.
On-the-go or can’t make it on weekends? Give us a call to inquire about private scuba lessons!
Includes:
- E-Learning access and online training
- Pool training sessions with instructors
- Virtual divers log and training record (referral form signed by instructor) for your pool dives
- Equipment rentals (tank, regulator, BCD, weights, and mask/fins/snorkel)
- $50 Voucher towards purchase of a select new Dive Computer, BCD, Regulator, or Mask/Fins/Snorkel/Boots Package
- $50 Voucher towards purchase of a Continuing Education Course
- FREE access to pool practice at the Etobicoke Olympium Pool every Monday from 9-11 pm. Gear rental is extra.
**Please allow enough time to review the e-learning materials before the pool sessions - the approximate duration is 4-6 hours.**
NOTE: There is a $50 fee for less than 1 weeks’ notice of rescheduling or cancelling your course.
