Take your diving to the next level with the SSI Advanced Open Water course! Designed for certified Open Water Divers, this course gives you the opportunity to try out different specialty dives under the guidance of a professional instructor - without committing to a full specialty course right away.
Over the course of five dives, you'll complete Deep Diving & Navigation specialty dives, with other possible specialties including Perfect Buoyancy, Wreck Diving, Limited Visibility, Tides & Currents, and Boat Diving.
It’s a great way to build experience, boost your confidence, and discover what type of diving excites you most. Selection of additional specialty dives is dependent on conditions.

- Online Advanced Open Water Diver E-Learning via the MySSI portal
- Open Water Dives 1 & 2: Gullivers Lake, Flamborough ON
- Open Water Dives 3 & 4: Gulliver’s Lake, Flamborough ON
- Evening Boat Charter Dive 5: Humber Bay Park Boat Ramp
Prerequisites
Certification: A recognized Open Water Diver certification from any agency
Minimum Age: 10 years old
