Whale sharks, the largest fish in the ocean, can reach up to lengths of 40 feet and live for almost 100 years. As filter feeders, whale sharks arrive around the full moons in the months of March to June to feed off the eggs of spawning fish. Both divers and snorkelers can enjoy a whale shark experience, as whale sharks are often found close to the surface.
