cuba in december!

Hello evrybody!

I'm thinkg about going to Cuba for 10 days! I'd like to do half relax trip (beaches and sun) and half cltural trip. Where do you reccomend me to sleep?¿ I'd like to spend the nights in a luxury place with great beaches and no tourisits. Is that possible?
Which cities have I to go? Habana and ?¿?

Havana is a great city but the area is not the best for vacationing.

What you are looking for is in Trinidad. That is Trinidad in Cuba.

There you will find

diving
rain forest (couple of hours drive)
culture/history
good beaches
good hotel
good drinks (for a tip)

There are 3 hotels in the area. Forget two of them. The one you want is Brisas Trinidad.

Period.

(PS) what not to do there

There is a well know island with Iguanas. It is really cool but takes a long time to get there. Do some thing else instead.

There is a water fall in the area. Likewise, getting there takes a bit too much.
